Naoki Convention House Rules
- The forecourt of the festival hall, the festival hall itself and the adjacent outdoor area fall within the area of the convention.
- The venue has a disabled-accessible entrance, please speak to us on site and we will accompany you to the secret entrance!
- There are several changing options in the building.
- Children under 7 years of age have free entry, but proof of age must be presented if required.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or an authorized adult companion, don’t worry, you don’t necessarily have to hold hands either!
- For security reasons, ID is required at the event, i.e. Just in case, have your ID with you, but normally we won’t ask you.
- Backpacks with a capacity of more than 24 liters are not permitted in the main hall, but can be handed over to our friendly cloakroom staff.
- Alcohol and drugs are of course prohibited on the entire NaokiCon site. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
- Drinks may only be brought onto the event site in plastic bottles. Glass and aluminum bottles are generally not permitted, with the exception of baby food in jars, which we can hardly forbid the little ones from. We recommend bringing bottles with a
volume of 0.5-1 liter. - The sale of goods and the distribution of advertising materials require prior agreement with the organization team; after all, we have our great artists for that!
- Cleanliness must be maintained throughout the entire NaokiCon area; smearing or contaminating walls and floors is prohibited; violations will result in cleaning and personnel costs for the person responsible or they will end up cleaning the hall with us!
- Roller skates, roller skates, skateboards and the like are only permitted for decorative purposes. But we believe you when you tell us you can drive well.
- Ball games are not permitted in order to minimize the risk of injury to other visitors and you.
- The use of loudspeakers or other technical devices for sound reinforcement is only permitted after prior agreement with the organizer. It’s a Sunday after all!
- People who are under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs will be expelled from the premises. – Understandable, right?
- The recording of audio or video recordings on the program premises without permission is prohibited. (If so, at least tag us -> @Naokicon)
- Event visitors have to leave the event and the grounds at the end of opening hours because the team wants to go home at some point.
- Escape routes must always be kept clear.
- During NaokiCon, various images (photos, videos, etc.) will be created. By visiting, each visitor expressly agrees that these recordings may be evaluated and used commercially without compensation or time or space restrictions, provided that this does not unduly infringe on personal interests. If someone doesn’t want to be featured in a photo or something similar, please write to us at [email protected] !
- Disruptive behavior can lead to expulsion from the event.
- NaokiCon reserves the right to do so in the event of criminal offenses reserve the right to inform the police. (Please don’t let it get that far)
- Live animals are generally not permitted, except for specially trained animals to support people with disabilities.
- The hall staff has the final say in case of doubt. No offense intended.
- The house rules of the festival hall in Weisweiler also apply. We are guests too!
Wardrobe
- You can find the cloakroom for a fee in the basement of the festival hall. No suitcases may be taken into the hall. Only backpacks and bags with a maximum capacity of 24 liters are permitted. All items handed in must be picked up by the end of the event, please don’t forget anything. All lost property can also be found there.
Cosplay Rules
- There may be heavy crowds of visitors during NaokiCon. We would like to point out that costumes may have a maximum diameter of 1.50 meters to avoid space problems.
- To avoid injuries, the maximum size of staff weapons or staff-like accessories is limited to 2.00 meters, regardless of material. Please no Sephiroth sword.
- Despite the necessary regulations, we ask for your understanding in order to ensure pleasant coexistence and well-being for all visitors during NaokiCon. We all want to have fun!
- Costumes should be appropriate and not too revealing. Adequate coverage of the breasts, intimate areas and buttocks is required. Obscene gestures or actions are not permitted, after all we are a family event.
- Costumes must not pose a danger to other visitors. Please ensure that colors and glitter applications do not rub off, drip or peel off. Not everyone has to come out sparkling.
- Please note the rules of the cosplay safety check and take into account that show fights are not permitted. Even though it would definitely be funny.
- Please do not use hairspray in the toilets or dye your hair.
- It is prohibited to bring prohibited weapons onto the NaokiCon grounds or into the hall. It does not matter whether the person has a valid firearms license that authorizes them to carry this weapon.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Real firearms, airsoft and gas pistols (also unloaded), as well as real ammunition
- Yellow blaster of any kind
- Pyrotechnics and explosive devices (firecrackers, rockets, etc.)
- Throwing weapons (e.g. throwing stars, darts, throwing knives)
- Knucklestraps, blackjacks, steel rods
- Choke weapons (e.g. nunchucks)
- Slashing and stabbing weapons with sharp or blunt metal blades or with points
- Permitted props and props may be worn for the entire duration of NaokiCon
.
Allowed items include, but are not limited to:
- Imitation weapons that pose no danger
- Rods that are clearly visible only for stabilization purposes
- Bow and quiver, but without arrows
- Generally ha armless objects
Our request to you!
Our request to you is to take care of each other! We all want to have a great convention and avoid unpleasant moments. We appeal to you for example: When choosing props for your cosplay, ensure that they do not pose any danger to you or the other visitors. If you notice that someone is not feeling well or feels unwell, please contact us immediately so that we can find a solution together. The helpers on site are always there for you! This is how you can help us ensure that every visitor can go home happy at the end of the convention.
